85,000 Missing Migrant Children

In their infinite wisdom, members of the Biden administration decided that housing the thousands of children coming over the southern border resulted in inhumane living conditions. So, they let pretty much anyone take children, even if they had parents looking for them. Thousands have been flown to New York State, and it’s not clear what happened to them. As of May 2023, about 85,000 were missing. According to the New York Times some of them are working in factories and sometimes not even being paid.

But no worries. Senators Blumenthal and Murphy and Congressman Courtney are in charge. Surely, we can trust them to look after the kids.

Let’s take a look at how worrying about the kids keeps Dick awake nights.

Well, at least Dick isn’t letting the trafficked kids ride in Ubers or Lyfts. And he cares about children on Instagram. I mean it must be a big problem if kids working for nothing in American factories are snapping and sending Instagram pictures of themselves on the assembly line. You can get hurt being distracted like that around machinery when you are supposed to have your nose to the grindstone. So, I guess Dick is sort of addressing illegal child labor horrors.

Chris Murphy must worry about the migrant children and is sensitive to their suffering. Let’s click on the link to his website . . . Uh, nothing. Odd, he seemed to care during the Trump administration. Chris’s site is pretty thin, so he seems kind of happy, go lucky. But he is wrought up about guns, unless it’s Hunter Biden’s. That particular one doesn’t get any ink from him. https://www.murphy.senate.gov as of June 22, 2023, 3:51 pm

Joe Courtney, maybe? Nothing about the children since he went to the border in February of 2019 and blamed the conditions on Trump. Otherwise, he’s also worried about guns, unless they’re Hunter Biden’s. But you can rely on Joe for some consistency. He offers us candy on his page. I guess he only really cares about dentists. https://courtney.house.gov as of June 22, 2023, 3:51 pm

The Democrats’ open border policy and the forced labor of migrant children conjures up their history as the party of slavery. I thought we fought a war about that.
