Every American Citizen Should Ask: Where Are Our Election Ballots Printed?

It’s a simple question, so why is the answer such a a mystery in Connecticut? It may be in your state, too. No matter which state we live in - red, blue, purple - we need to demand to know where our election ballots are printed. And here are some accompanying questions: How many ballots are printed? Just for the number of registered voters? Are extras included? How many and how is the number determined? How are extras accounted for? Are our ballots printed on watermarked paper? How are they inventoried, secured, stored, and then distributed to the towns? When they reach the towns, the same questions apply and then again when the ballots arrive at the polling places.

Tony DeAngelo has tried for over a year to get an answer to just the first question, and I have tried a number of times myself. After decades of expressed doubts about the integrity of our elections from both parties , you would think that everyone would be eager to have a clear answer.

So please share this post far and wide throughout our nation and ask your state officials the same questions. Meanwhile, Governor Ned Lamont, please get answers for the citizens of Connecticut.
