Stay Out of My Clubhouse

I belong to a very exclusive club, and we don’t want you. So harsh. So sorry. But you probably wouldn’t like the hazing process, anyway. It’s so tough, we talk about it for the rest of our lives. But once you’re in, just pay your yearly dues and you’re golden with us forever.

Our new members are generally young to early middle age. While that sounds discriminatory, we really aren’t. Our members come from all races and economic classes.

Recently, we’ve had some potential new members. They’ve undergone the early hazing, but it’s such a draining process a bit of time elapses before the membership paperwork goes out.

So, unless your envelope arrives stay out of my clubhouse. We don’t want new members. We’re gold star wives.

(This post is completely my opinion and does not reflect the views, membership process, or anything else associated with the Gold Star Wives, of which I am a member.)
