The Media, Abuse of Women, and Hunter Biden's Laptop Revisited

Update to post November 21, 2020

Now that everyone admits that Hunter Biden’s laptop is authentic and the contents have been used as evidence in a trial, let’s revisit a discussion of how much the media cared about the women on the laptop.

Loletha Hall

On Tuesday, March 26, 2024, a relative told me that his friend and former neighbor went out the previous morning on an Uber call, but never came home.  Loletha’s finance, McArthur Tinker, Jr., filed a missing person report that day.  Shortly afterward, Mac learned that Loletha had been shot by the owner of the house where she had been instructed to pick up a package and had died in surgery.

Joe Biden's Climate Crisis

Joe is right about the climate crisis. Now, bear with me. Sadly, Republicans and Independents are reluctant to listen to Democrats ringing alarm bells. Look what happened when they ignored Hillary Clinton’s repeated, emotional warnings about the nefarious conspiracies designed to undermine our election process. And now they are deaf . . .

EXPANSION OF HUSKY HEALTH BENEFITS TO INELIGIBLE DUE TO IMMIGRATION STATUS.

The Democrat’s title and description have “written” the first part of this post.  But here’s the second part:  what a racist, anti-American citizen bill.

85,000 Missing Migrant Children

In their infinite wisdom, members of the Biden administration decided that housing the thousands of children coming over the southern border resulted in inhumane living conditions. So, they let pretty much anyone take children, even if they had parents looking for them. Thousands have been flown to New York State, and it’s not clear what happened to them.

Brittney Griner, Trevor Reed, and Paul Whelan

Brittney Griner and Trevor Reed are back home, and that’s a good thing. But you do have to wonder about the timing. Reed, a Marine and former presidential guard in the Obama administration, languished in a Russian jail for close to three years and was finally released two months after the Russians scooped up Griner. Biden had to get Reed first,

The Media!

What a dystopian world we live in. Inflation isn’t inflation, because Joe Biden said so; a woman is undefinable, but women’s rights are important; yada, yada, yada. And don’t ask the slavish mainstream media to challenge the narrative. Maybe a lot of them don’t know how. Let’s have a quick lesson.

Thank You, Joe!

Wednesday the 12th of October, downtown New London, CT. A wonderful time for the Republicans. It must have been gratifying for Joe Courtney, too - at first. Before his debate with Mike France, reps for a builders' union stood on a flatbed with a bullhorn screaming Joe's praises. Shouting through the bullhorn, beefy guys took turns

Heavy Lifting

Dick Blumenthal and Joe Courtney must be getting really tired. After all, they do a lot of heavy lifting for their party. First, they have to keep up with what the party wants them to care about. One minute it’s trying to guess what a woman is and the next it’s protecting women’s rights, whoever and whatever they are. As long-time, dutiful party members, I suspect

Joe Writes Home

Say what you will about Joe Courtney, you must admit that he writes a good letter. I’ll bet that as a child he wrote home every day from summer camp. Baseball, swimming, paddling those tippy canoes, archery, woods lore - none could temp him away from his pen and paper. If we could step back in time, we’d see Joe sitting in the dining hall,

Let's Focus

I think we’re getting distracted by the abortion debate. Yes, I know, it’s an important issue, but why spend time arguing right now? There’s no way to enlighten angry people who don’t or won’t understand the Constitution and/or the Supremes’ ruling. Why try to talk with deranged protestors, such as the one shouting that she was going to get pregnant just so she could have an abortion? Stop the hours of repeating ourselves; instead,
